Water Weight Loss

Never underestimate the power of water. We sometimes overlook all the great things that water does for our spirit and our health. Water has the power to cool us. When the temperature gets hot, there is nothing like a pool or lake to relax and refresh us.

Water has the power to relax us. When your feeling stressed out a hot shower or bath can wash your stress away. Adding essential oils to a warm bath makes it a "special occasion"

Water is rain. In order for plants to grow they need water. Whether it be a farmers crop or an ordinary house plant, if proper water is not supplied the plants or crops will wither and die. Even cactuses require water, and have developed a way to store precious water to insure their livelihood.

Water has the power to cleanse. Imagine a life without water to clean your clothes, your dishes, your body, your car. Sounds unbearable to me! Drinking water also helps to cleanse your body. It helps to flush out fat and toxins that reside within you.

Water makes energy. As an alternative power source, running water can be harnessed to create electric. The Hoover Dam is a perfect example of this. About 4 billion kilowatt-hours of energy, enough for 500,000 homes, are generated annually at this facility!

Water helps us in weight loss. Often times hunger is disguised as thirst. If you think that you are hungry, drink 8 to 12 ounces of water instead of grabbing a bag of chips. Wait for about 10 minutes and see if your urge to eat doesn't "go away" To curb your appetite prior to mealtime drink a glass of water prior to eating. This will help fill you up and provide the hydration your body needs to run efficiently!

Water is recreational. Without water you couldn't fish, swim, enjoy a boat ride or any of the other great things water provides.

As you can see, life without water is unthinkable. Water is needed to do so many things in everyday life. This is the reason you should also implement lots of water in your weight loss plan. Water contains no calories, no caffeine, no sugar and no additives. It is suggested that you drink about a gallon ot water, if not more, to help you attain your weight loss goals. Once you are in the habit of drinking water, anything else just falls short of this most excellent natural beverage!
